Pakistan to establish that there is an
affordability gap as household incomes are
low and there is a scarcity of housing
finance due to various issues such as
undocumented incomes and poor
governance. Due to the unavailability of
housing finance, the affordability gap is not
bridged and the middle class mostly
acquires sub-standard accommodation on a
rental basis.
